The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) offers three distinct streams for individuals seeking immigration opportunities in Alberta:
- Alberta Opportunity Stream: Qualified candidates living and working in Alberta with a job offer from an Alberta employer can apply for an AINP nomination.
- Alberta Express Entry Stream: Qualified candidates with an Express Entry profile may be invited by AINP to apply for nomination for permanent residence.
- For Entrepreneurs:

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) offers four distinct programs with various sub-categories, all of which do not require a job offer:

- Financial documents showing a net worth of $500,000 are required.
- Cost: $75,000 deposit returned if the Performance Agreement is met.
- Applicants must undergo a 10-day mandatory visit to Saskatchewan and present a proposal with plans to invest a minimum of $150,000.
- A Young Farmer Stream is also available for applicants under the age of 40.
The Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) offers various streams for individuals seeking immigration opportunities in Yukon:
- Express Entry: Ideal for skilled professionals, critical impact workers, and entrepreneurs.
- Skilled Worker Program: Tailored for individuals ready to establish, acquire, or invest in businesses in Yukon.

Additionally, the Yukon Community Pilot (YCP) was introduced in 2020 as part of the Yukon Nominee Program, scheduled to run for three years. Under the YCP, individuals with a valid nomination for permanent residence from Yukon may qualify for a two-year location-restricted open work permit.
To be eligible for the YCP work permit, applicants must have 2 or 3 eligible job offers, a signed letter of support from the Government of Yukon, and meet general work permit requirements. The permit allows employment with up to three different employers in one of the participating Yukon communities, including Whitehorse, Watson Lake, Dawson City, Haines Junction, Carmacks, and Carcross. It remains valid for two years and does not necessitate a Labour Market Impact Assessment.
